  YOU ARE NUMBER 1 Here are some of my third grade students' commendable works. Overview:     This is an activity enhancer which the students present in front of the whole class. It is graded accordingly through voice modulation, appropriateness of the material, effectiveness of any visual aid used and creativity in presentation. All students are expected to meet these standards in delivering there activity enhancer. For this period, we assigned the students to prepare English trivia to present in class. Here are some students who presented their work outstandingly.

Cases of Nouns: Possessive (Genitive) Case

Possessive (Genitive) i s a word of, relating to, or constituting a word, a word group, or a grammatical case that denotes ownership or a relation analogous or similar to ownership. Possession is simply the state of having or owning something. A noun is in possessive case if it shows ownership or possession . Nouns or pronouns in possessive case are usually guided by the noun that follows it. Possessive case are marked with an apostrophe and 's' at the end of the word or with the 'of' phrase. Observe this chart contrasting the apostrophe and 's' and the the 'of' phrase:

Numbers of Nouns: Plural

Plural is a word of, relating to, or constituting a class of grammatical forms usually used to denote more than one or in some languages more than two . Plural stands for many. If you are referring to several persons thing or events , then use the plural form of the noun. There are several ways in forming the plural form of nouns. Generally you add 's' after the word to form the plural, in other cases you add 'es', and still in others, you would totally change the word. Here is a chart of the rules you can follow to change a noun to its plural form: Let us take a look at the difference of singular and plural nouns: *Take note that there are no rules stating when a word needs to be totaly changed to form its plural, you have to familiarize yourself with that word.
